DCTS Available Courses
Southeast Delco School District 9th & 10th grade students and families have an exciting opportunity provided by our district’s partnership with Delaware County Technical High Schools (DCTS). Thanks to this partnership, our students can explore new career pathways and gain valuable experience in their areas of interest by enrolling in a DCTS program.
Attending DCTS allows students to get a head start on their futures. Once enrolled, students will spend half the day taking academic classes at their high school and the other half earning college credit and professional credentials in various areas of interest at the DCTS Aston or Folcroft campus.
Regardless of which campus they attend, much of students’ time is spent gaining hands-on work experiences in classroom settings that mimic the real-world conditions of their chosen field.
As this program continues to grow and thrive, DCTS expects to have nearly 90 students for the 2024-25 school year.
Despite it being beyond the enrollment deadline, DCTS will continue to accept students into the programs if seats remain available. There may still limited spaces available in some of the following programs:
Advertising Design
Computer IT
Computer Networking
Engineering
Early Childhood Education
Teacher Preparation Academy
Exercise Therapy and Sports (all at Aston)
Automotive (at Folcroft)
The comprehensive program guide provides detailed information about each of the programs to help students discover which option(s) is right for them.
