Students wrapped up a summer of learning thanks to the 2026 GSK Science in the Summer program! 👏

Participants explored everything from making super-stretchy slime to separating clean water from polluted water—getting a real opportunity to discover how chemistry powers so many parts of our world.

This free, hands-on STEM program, engineered by The Franklin Institute, is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of scientists.

The annual award recognizes exceptional teachers in grades 5-12 across the Greater Philadelphia region.

Congratulations to the School Improvement Team from Academy Park High School for representing the district at the Building Solutions for Continuous Improvement Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, this week! 🎉
