Students at Academy Park High School are celebrating record success on the AP U.S. History exam! 🎉

In the 2024-25 school year, about 73% of students who took the exam earned a passing score of 3 or higher. Six students earned a score of 4, and one student achieved a perfect 5.

We’re proud to celebrate Jahmere McDuffie, a rising 11th grader from Academy Park High School, for completing the 2025 S.C.O.P.E. program at Penn State! 🎓

This four-week summer program gives high school students a preview of college life while exploring real-world issues in education.

Jahmere presented original research on “Learning While Black: Racial Bias Against African American Students in the Classroom,” demonstrating his passion for making a difference in schools and communities.
